About Us
Darul Iftaa Mu'adh Ibn Jabal is a centre for Iftaa and Shariah services, featuring an Iftaa programme which not only focuses on teaching the classical principles in Fiqh and Iftaa, but equally empowers students to apply Fiqh and navigate the ever developing world.
Our vision is to establish the Darul Iftaa as a centre of classical Islamic studies whilst embracing contemporary issues and challenges. Our goal is to provide sound, well-researched, and relevant fatwa's that resonate with the needs of individuals and the broader Muslim community. We aim to train and develop academically robust, spiritually disciplined and traditionally rooted Muftis who possess working knowledge contemporary disciplines, arts and social sciences.
Students will engage with practitioners & industry experts in the quest to solve problems in different fields, allowing them to develop academic expertise and a research-orientated mindset. Students will be trained and empowered according to the robust methodology of the classical jurists, gaining insights into the approach and system of Fatwa of the leading jurists of this era. Students will be encouraged to perform additional prayers and engage in gatherings of spiritual rectification.
Iftaa is a very active, hands-on, dynamic craft. It is observation, debate, research, inquisition, expression and creativity. It is transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary, and it is absorbing the persona of the teacher, combining theory and practice through the lens of the Fuqaha.
